CDARI and Veritas Partner to Strengthen On-Chain Security
CDARI, a blockchain cybersecurity research institute, has formed a strategic partnership with Veritas, a Web3 risk intelligence platform, to boost on-chain security across decentralized networks.
The mission is clear: prevent crypto losses before they occur.
The two companies will merge their technologies to offer real-time risk monitoring, smart contract auditing, and chain retrieval integration—a proactive method to shield users from exploits, phishing scams, and rug pulls.
CDARI contributes its academic research and advanced analytical tools, built to detect blockchain vulnerabilities and assist in tracing stolen assets. Veritas brings its real-time threat detection engine, which actively flags suspicious transactions for several DeFi protocols.
Together, they aim to redefine on-chain security by detecting attacks early and supporting recovery efforts.
Chain Retrieval Tools and Blockchain Audits Take Center Stage
At the core of their partnership lies a shared commitment to Chain Retrieval technology—a method that tracks and recovers stolen assets by scanning blockchain transactions in real-time.
With crypto thefts rising, CDARI and Veritas agree that the industry must move beyond manual audits and slow responses. Their joint solution tackles these issues head-on and includes:
-
Automated smart contract audits using Veritas’s AI-driven scanner
-
Real-time threat mapping and wallet risk analysis
-
Chain retrieval support to track lost tokens and block malicious addresses
-
Educational resources to help projects improve smart contract safety
“We aim to make on-chain activity safer for every user,” said Lina Cao, CDARI’s Director of Research. “This partnership lets us apply cutting-edge research to real-world DeFi security challenges.”
Mark Elman, CEO of Veritas, shared the same vision: “By combining CDARI’s forensic capabilities with our real-time detection tools, we’re setting a new standard for blockchain protection.”
Their collaboration seeks to directly impact how protocols manage on-chain risks. Developers and users will gain stronger tools and faster responses to potential threats.
This initiative arrives at a critical moment. In just 18 months, DeFi hacks and scams have led to over $2.2 billion in losses. Many of those cases could have been avoided—or reduced—with active monitoring and immediate response systems like chain retrieval.
By aligning deep blockchain research with powerful threat detection, CDARI and Veritas are building a more secure Web3 ecosystem—one where security becomes proactive, not reactive.
